It eliminates the typical “paper cup smell,” leaves behind no microplastics, and completely biodegrades within weeks when buried in soil.

An eco-friendly paper cup that delivers the full value of coffee’s flavor without compromise — this is The Clean Cup.

To keep paper cups from getting wet, they are typically coated with a thin layer of plastic — specifically, low-density polyethylene (LDPE).

This coating allows the paper to resist moisture and maintain its structure. However, LDPE begins to soften at temperatures above 70°C and melts at around 120°C, which means some of it can dissolve into the coffee at typical brewing temperatures.

As the coating peels or degrades, the paper’s natural odor can seep into the coffee, and microplastics may also be released — stripping away the coffee’s original aroma and flavor.

Acidity loses its freshness and becomes dull, the texture turns rough, and the telltale “paper smell” is impossible to ignore.

The Clean Cup completely solves this problem.
