INTRODUCTION
Omacoffee Brewers is a specialty coffee company founded in Jakarta in 2023, built on the belief that coffee can be endlessly explored through creativity and human connection. Inspired by the Japanese concept of omakase meaning “I’ll leave it up to you”. We bring a curated, sensory coffee experience that feels personal, warm, and welcoming. At Omacoffee, we believe specialty coffee should be exclusively for everyone.
Founded by three friends, Heraldy, Jeff, and Mikha. Omacoffee was born from a shared dream of creating a coffee space that prioritizes interaction and connection, something rarely found in everyday coffee places. Heraldy and Mikha are passionate homebrewers who have been part of Indonesia’s early specialty coffee movement, while Jeff, who comes from a finance background, discovered his passion for coffee through Omacoffee and now enjoys creating coffee content.
Despite being a young company, Omacoffee has grown rapidly, gaining recognition within the community through collaborations with renowned baristas such as Muhammad Aga, Elysia Tan, and (hopefully soon) Martin Wolfl, as well as brand partnerships with Weber Workshops, Victoria Arduino, and Breville. In 2025, we also began our competition journey, sending two members to the Cup Tasters Championship and one to the Barista Championship.
Our Omakase Room features a Modbar espresso system and a filter set up powered by the Mahlkönig EK43, allowing us to present a precise and immersive brewing experience that reflects our belief coffee can be both exquisite and approachable.
