PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUD
Anita Tam is a prominent figure in the U.S. coffee competitions community, having served in multiple judging and organizational roles, including U.S. National Competitions Coordinator, U.S. Latte Art Championship Chair, and Lead Technical Judge for the U.S. Barista Championship. Before her involvement in coffee competitions, she was an Authorized SCA Trainer (AST) and Examiner for the Specialty Coffee Association, where she taught both Barista and Brewing classes.
Anita is frequently invited to speak on panels covering a wide range of specialty coffee topics, including business, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Through Slow Pour Supply, she actively supports competitors and the broader coffee community by sponsoring champion-level brew gear and promoting educational events across the region.
Originally from Hong Kong and trained as a classical musician, Anita discovered her passion for coffee through a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and attention to detail. With a family background in logistics and ceramic production, she founded Slow Pour Supply in 2018, a company now renowned for its dedication to quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.
